Fuel Spill: What Would You Do?

It’s a few days before Christmas at ABC Data Centre.

Site Manager Greg is in a meeting when his radio crackles:
Andi (new shift engineer): “I’m doing the fuel delivery and diesel is pouring out of a pipe into the car park—what do I do?”

Greg responds immediately:
“Stop the delivery if you haven’t already! I’m on my way.”

He runs toward the car park, calling for backup on the radio.

When Greg arrives, he sees:
-Andi standing, visibly stressed
-The overflow has stopped, but diesel is spreading across the car park
-Fuel has reached a drain
-No spill kit in sight
-No drain covers in place
